Describe the difference between monocular and binocular vision

Please provide the best answer for the statement.

Animals and humans who have their eyes placed on the front of their heads are capable of binocular vision. In binocular vision the signals from the two eyes reach the brain, where they are processed into a single picture with depth. As a result, we have the ability to judge distances. In some birds and lizards, they have their eyes placed on the sides of their head. These animals have monocular vision. One picture of what is being seen by one eye is processed in the brain. These animals are not able to perceive true depth, but are able to use monocular cues to make some judgments about depth.
