Which of the personality theories do you most subscribe to? How would you use that theory as an educator?
What will be an ideal response?
I think I most subscribe to the consistency theory. I believe that people learn best when they are challenged to think about things differently and see the perspectives of others. One way I would use the theory as an educator is by presenting two “truths” that do not seem to fit together and invite the participants to discuss how both can still be true. Such as “If it is true that children generally do what seems right to them, how do we explain the way children sometimes hurt their siblings?,”
