Why is learning the proper sequence of events so important to an interviewer?

What will be an ideal response?

Knowing the exact sequence of events can render the event plausible or not. How did the
perpetrator get access to the victim, to the money stolen, or to the area to cause damage? Once
access was gained, what was the manner in which he or she committed the act? What were the
instruments or tools that were used in the commission of the act?
