Describe slope overload distortion.
What will be an ideal response?
Slope overload distortion refers to the rapidly rising input signals. In this case, the frequency of the input signal is faster than the speed of the modulator and therefore the step size is too small to respond to part of the input signal that has a steep slope. Slope overload distortion can be reduced by increasing the step size.
