Briefly explain why the adoption of a standard, two-part scientific naming system is helpful to biologists

What will be an ideal response?

"Common names" can create confusion because the same common name may be used for different species and different common names may be used for the same species. In contrast, standard scientific names can be recognized by biologists worldwide and help them avoid confusion when discussing organisms. In addition, the two-part name makes it easy for biologists to discern whether two species are closely related (that is, whether they are in the same genus).
