Discuss state-level enforcement in responding to the threat of large-scale corporate fraud

What will be an ideal response?

In responding to the threat of large-scale corporate fraud, a number of states have created special task forces and prosecution teams to crack down on fraudulent schemes and bring perpetrators to justice. Various state legislatures have also passed new laws aimed directly at easing prosecution for corporate crimes. For example, Florida has created the Mortgage Fraud Task Force to address the issues of mortgage and foreclosure rescue fraud. The task force investigates cases in which false or misleading documents are filed to fool lenders into making mortgage loans to people who cannot hope to pay them back or on properties whose values have been grossly inflated.
