By giving an edge to one connector over another, a marketer can expect in return to cover a story in detail and in a manner than closely reflects the marketer's positioning. Marketers conceivably can share a story among more than one connector and still deliver exclusivity, so long as the various outlets do not compete within the same markets and they are made aware that related stories have been given to other media.
