How would you test a spark plug cable insulation for leaks?

What will be an ideal response?

To test spark plug cable insulation for leaks, use a jumper wire to connect the blade of a large screwdriver-one with a large plastic handle-to ground. With the engine idling, pass the screwdriver blade over the spark plug cables. A spark will jump to the screwdriver if the insulation is damaged.

Another test is to spray soapy water on the cables to see if the engine misfires.
