List the examples of public policy exceptions to employment-at-will.
What will be an ideal response?
Public policy exceptions to employment-at-will would include such things as being terminated for: filing a legitimate worker’s compensation claim; refusing to lobby for a particular political candidate just because your boss likes them; or refusing to violate a professional code of ethics. In other words, if the organization was violating vital public interests and the worker refused to participate, the organization would not have a right to terminate the individual’s employment based on employment-at-will.
