Discuss the differences between marking an exhibit for identification and receiving it into evidence

What will be an ideal response?


Exhibits are first marked for identification before they are discussed. After testimony surrounding the exhibit has concluded the exhibits may or may not be offered into evidence. If they are received, they are then so marked as being received into evidence.
