How is an environmentalist focus essential to living within the values of social work as a profession?

What will be an ideal response?

According to NASW, environmental exploitation violates the principle of social justice. When there are problems in the natural environment, these problems often fall disproportionately upon the disadvantaged, violating that key value of social work. Standing up for the rights of lower-power groups in society includes standing up for their right to a clean and healthy environment in both a micro and macro sense. In 2010, CSWE declared sustainability the social justice issue of the new century.
