The Internet of Things (IoT) is a relatively new term generally describing interconnected computing devices, mechanical and digital machines, objects, animals, or people that have the ability to transfer data over a network without requiring human-to-human or human-to-computer interaction. One of the potential uses of IoT involves wearable technologies.
