Describe the methods of administration for nasal medications in the pediatric patient.
What will be an ideal response?
Nose drops in the child are administered much the same as with an adult. A small infant must be held much like a football to administer nose drops. An older child's head may be held over the end of the bed. A small pillow may be placed under the child's shoulders to aid in the flow of the medicine through the nasal passage.
