What will be an ideal response?
Watch for a worsening of depression or sudden improvement in mood. Monitor for evidence of withdrawal or hoarding of medication. Be sure that the patient is eating and drinking. Report to your supervisor immediately if the patient makes a sudden decision to become an organ donor or if she makes statements such as "I want to die." Monitor for sudden changes in behavior or sudden interest or disinterest in religion.
