What is the purpose of "development of victimology" in criminal personality profiling?
What will be an ideal response?
In offender profiling, much more attention is given to who the victim was and what the victim represented to self and others. The end goal of the victimology is to understand the victim's life and to detail what the victim was doing up until the point of death (victimization), as well as how the victim interacted with others personally, sexually, and professionally, because more than likely the offender chose this particular victim for very specific psychological reasons.
