Explain what insufflation of the fallopian tube involves


A procedure that tests the viability of the fallopian tube, in which a gas or a liquid such as saline may be introduced under pressure. Gas, air, or dye may be insufflated. Rubin's test introduces carbon dioxide into the fallopian tube and the uterus.
