The text identifies and discusses learning, sensory, and physical diversity in terms of: perspectives on intelligence, meeting the needs of students with cognitive exceptionalities, learning disorders, and sensory aspects of diversity. Briefly describe the characteristics of any three of these areas in which students may differ. Then identify original strategies that you might use to meet the needs of students in each of the three areas you have chosen to discuss. Finally, of the four categories, explain which one you believe will provide the greatest challenge for you to address with your students and how you can meet it.

* To receive full credit for the third assignment, the student must specifically identify one of the four categories, explain what makes it a challenge for them, and offer at least one strategy for meeting the challenge.
