Describe M.D.'s risk for lymphedema

What will be an ideal response?

Lymphedema is the accumulation of lymph in the soft tissue. It can occur after excision of lymph nodes.
If the axillary lymph nodes are removed, they cannot return lymph fluid to the central circulation; fluid
then accumulates in the arm, causing edema, heaviness, pain, and impaired motor function.
