During an interview there are several strategies you should follow to ensure it is successful. List three strategies and give an example of how you will complete each one.

What will be an ideal response?

1) Be punctual. Arrive early to the interview so I can find parking, locate the building, and get myself composed.
2) Dress appropriately. Wear the right clothes for the interview. Look professional.
3) Use my social skills effectively. Shake hands firmly, look the interviewer in the eye, show I'm interested in the interviewer as a human being and not just as someone who's going to give me a job. Be positive and confident.
4) Ask questions. Ask questions about the organization, what a day in the life of the job would be, how long it will be before they make a hiring decision.
5) Be myself and be honest. I won't pretend to be someone else just to get the job.
