What are the attributes of a protection domain?

A protection domain has two attributes: signer and location. Location is the URI indicating where the Java classes reside, and signer could be null if the classes are not signed. Based on its signer/ location attributes, a protection domain derives a set of permissions and puts it into its set of permissions.
