Jupiter's moon Europa appears to have a liquid-water ocean below its icy crust, and minerals dissolved in the water could provide a source of raw material for chemical evolution. There are evidently also liquid zones inside Ganymede, Callisto, and Saturn's moon Enceladus. Mars is the most likely place for life to exist in the solar system aside from Earth. There is a great deal of evidence that liquid water once flowed on its surface.
