Define USAID and the Millennium Challenge Corporation. How are they similar? How are they different? Which of the two receives more support from the U.S. government? Why?

What will be an ideal response?

Answers should identify USAID as the historic agency for delivering and implementing foreign aid. The Millennium Challenge Corporation should be identified as the newer program for aid distribution created by President Bush. Both USAID and the Millennium Challenge Corporation provide direct aid deliverance, they are both associated with the United States and shaped by presidential policy, and they both face difficulties in measuring and implementing successes and failures. Differences include public and private entities, staff, and missions.
