Describe the process of norm-referenced grading
What will be an ideal response?
For norm-referenced grading, grades are determined by comparing the performance of each student with that of the other students. First the teacher decides what percentage of her class will receive each letter grade. Then the class is sorted into those grade categories according to their relative rankings. Grades are awarded according to these categorical rankings, regardless of how high or low the high scores actually are, or how similar lower scores may be to top scores.
