What are the procedures followed during a trial?
What will be an ideal response?
Before you are called to testify in court, become familiar with the usual procedures followed during a trial. First, your attorney demonstrates to the court that you are competent as an expert or technical witness. The opposing counsel might attempt to discredit you or might choose not to based on your past record. Your attorney then leads you through the evidence, and then opposing counsel cross-examines you. After your testimony, you might be called back to update your testimony, or you might be called as a rebuttal witness.
