Why does it make sense for a multinational corporation to allow its foreign customers to pay on credit if there is rationing in the foreign credit market?

What will be an ideal response?

The MNC must balance the increase in sales that arises from granting credit with the costs that arise from the situation giving rise to the blocked funds and the possibility that the MNC will not get sufficient value in the future. If the situation is considered somewhat temporary, it may make sense to grant customers credit with the understanding that they will be able to pay after the blocked funds situation is resolved.
