Discuss the importance of developing working relationships with parents

What will be an ideal response?

Effective teachers develop good working relationships with parents. The relationships you develop with parents will vary according to students' special needs, the ability and willingness of parents to become involved, and your ability to make parents feel welcome. Even if parents are unable to become involved as much as you would like, they will appreciate your efforts; moreover, their positive perceptions of you will encourage their children to excel in your classroom.
