What role has new technology played in the development and testing of biosocial theories?

What will be an ideal response?

A very large role. Many theories are developed and tested in response to advances in technology. For example, brain scans have been used to examine differences between the brains of murderers and normal people. Advances in DNA research have allowed biosocial theorists to locate particular genes that produce particular traits. Recent breakthroughs in the study of the brain and its neurotransmitters have also allowed theorists to build explanations of behavior on factors derived from these areas.
