Describe how the following two types of market-based reforms are utilized: (a) vouchers; (b) tax credits or tax deductions

What will be an ideal response?

(a) vouchers: parents or guardians are provided a state certificate or voucher typically worth the same amount of money as the average per-pupil cost per child, and the parents may use the voucher to have their child attend any public school.
(b) tax credits or tax deductions: tax credits or deductions are allowed to either individuals or corporations that provide money to scholarship organizations. The scholarships are then given to individuals who use them to attend the school of their choice, public or private. These scholarships work much like vouchers, except that individual or corporate money, not public funding, is used.
