In your opinion, should juveniles continue to receive what many regard as preferential treatment from the courts? Why or why not?
What will be an ideal response?
The problem with the juvenile justice system is that most of the public thinks it is flawed. This is because of the general perception that the juveniles in question are all violent criminals who commit homicides as a 12-year-old gang member. Most of the children in the juvenile justice system need the help of the courts and deserve the preferential treatment. Society should not punish all juveniles because the system is flawed.
