A hyperlink is a specially formatted word, phrase, graphic, or drawn object that you click during a slide show to "jump to," or display, another slide or PowerPoint presentation in your current presentation; a document from another program, like Word; or a Web page. To create a hyperlink, select the text or graphic to be used, click the INSERT tab on the Ribbon, then click the Hyperlink button in the Links group. Specify the slide or document being linked to in the Insert Hyperlink dialog box, then click OK.
