Pick's disease, Parkinson's disease, and Huntington's disease resemble Alzheimer's disease. Pick's disease is a relatively rare degenerative disease that affects the frontal and temporal lobes. Parkinson's disease involves degeneration the basal ganglia, the subcortical structures that control motor movements. Huntington's disease is a hereditary condition causing dementia that involves a widespread deterioration of the subcortical brain structures and parts of the frontal cortex that control motor movements.
