Why might tardigrades make good organisms for space flight? What will be an ideal response?

Tardigrades have traits to make them very good candidates. For one, they can go dormant for years
which could be beneficial for the flight. Second, they can tolerate extreme hot and cold which could
be experienced on the journey. Third, they are very small so they would not need a large craft.
