What do you know about the interaction between Ras and SOS? What other information is related to the question?

What will be an ideal response?

The protein SOS is a guanine nucleotide exchange factor for Ras. SOS helps facilitate the
exchange of GDP for GTP.Ras is a G-protein that is active when GTP is bound to it. Ras can then cleave
a phosphate off of GTP forming GDP to go into the inactive state. When SOS replaces GDP with GTP it
reactivates the Ras.
