What is the difference between "center of gravity" (cg) and "center of mass" (cm)? When are they the same?

The cm is at the average position of the masses and does not depend upon gravity. The cg is the average position of weights with each mass being weighted by the strength of gravity g. The cm and the cg are identical when g is the same for all the masses.
