What were Wolfgang's key findings in his study of homicides?

What will be an ideal response?

Wolfgang found that 26 percent of all homicides studied involved situations in which the victim was the first to use force during the acts leading to the homicide. Wolfgang identified several factors that he associated with victim participation in homicides: (1) The victim and the perpetrator usually had some sort of prior relationship—spouse, family members, or close acquaintances; (2) the events leading up to the homicide started as a small disagreement that escalated into a burst of anger that resulted in a killing; and (3) alcohol was used or consumed by many of the victims prior to the incident.
