What will be an ideal response?
Programmed decisions are automatic responses to routine and recurring
situations. Example would be any quick, commonplace, or automatic response to a routine or
reoccurring situation For example, what to grab for breakfast, which route to take to
school, or whether to walk on the treadmill again at the gym.
Nonprogrammed decisions respond to new or nonroutine problems for which there are
no proven solutions.
Example would be any first time situation or complex decision: Where should I go to
college?, Should I rent with strangers or my best friend?, or Should I quit school and
work for Bob?
