What is the difference between the humanistic and the utilitarian moral philosophies?

What will be an ideal response?

Under the humanistic philosophy, an individual makes ethical decisions based upon a moral philosophy that focuses upon individual rights and values. An individual who adopts this philosophy makes decisions that honor their moral duties to others. On the other hand, a person who has adopted the utilitarian philosophy believes that the correct conduct is that which produces the greatest good for the largest number of people. The problem, of course, with this approach is: what rights does the minority have?
