Answer: Answer should include mnemonic strategies have been shown to help increase learning and memory for many people and also for students with intellectual disabilities, learning disabilities, behavioral or emotional disorders, and gifted and typically achieving students. As in every teaching strategy, if overused it can have limitations. Mnemonic techniques are most effective when they are used to reinforce objectives to remember specific content, directly taught and practiced, combined with comprehension instruction, and included with application activities.
