How are organized criminals different from terrorists with regards to financing?

What will be an ideal response?

The two concepts are hardly identical. Organized criminals are in business to make money, and they launder illegal profits to enjoy their benefits. Terrorists fight for a cause, and when they reap profits, they only want to use them in support of that cause. Both organized crime and terrorism are based on money, but it is used differently in each case.
