Why did the RD recommend a breakfast that is high in protein and has less than 30 g of carbohydrate with no juice?

Frequently, breakfast postprandial blood glucose levels rise excessively. It is not uncommon to provide high protein as previously explained for calories and a low carbohydrate load. The juice would increase the blood glucose rapidly so more complex carbohydrate is preferred.
