What are the implications for due dates and milestones when project slack is reapplied to the aggregated level?

What will be an ideal response?

Milestones are not used in the CCPM activity network; the only firm commitment is to the project delivery date. Team members responsible for individual activities may meet or miss deadlines and are much more likely to miss them if their usual safety margin has been taken from them for aggregation at the project level. The project organization must recognize the increased potential for missed deadlines so that finger pointing does not occur when deadlines are missed. Lack of milestones makes it difficult to work with suppliers and subcontractors. Flexibility must be built into this system so they can deliver materials or be on site at a moment's notice or be bound by early start times if their functions lie on the critical path.

What does the coefficient of optimism need to exceed in order for the Galapagos Islands to not be the vacation destination of choice?

Final exams are almost here and once they are done, it will be time to reward myself with a well-deserved vacation. As a state employee, I haven't seen a raise since... well, ever. Thus an important criterion, in fact the most important criterion is to find an exotic region that can be visited inexpensively. There are three states of nature that could impact costs in these five areas of interest, and they correspond to the relative strength of the US Dollar against that region's dominant currency. Rather than squander my time doing any actual publishable research, instead I have determined the average cost per day to visit each region under each of the possible states of nature. This table, which should not be construed as actual vacation advice, appears below. Region Strong Dollar Middling Dollar Weak Dollar Eastern Europe 33 54 57 Southeast Asia 41 56 36 Australia 45 44 58 Galapagos Islands 37 35 26 Scandinavia 38 11 48 A) 0.80 B) 0.77 C) 0.74 D) 0.71

Using the 2012 financial statements for DRE Corporation and this additional information, prepare a pro forma

income statement and balance sheet for the year 2013. Determine the discretionary financing needed (DFN) and assume that if the DFN is positive, the company will increase long-term debt, and if DFN is negative, the company will pay back some long-term debt. Sales for next year (2013 ) are expected to increase by $300,000 to $1,800,000. The firm is running efficiently and at full capacity so that all assets and spontaneous liabilities are expected to increase proportionally with sales. The dividend payout ratio for 2013 will be 40%.
