• Breaks down adhesions and holding patterns.
• Goals of the realignment phase
• Encourages realignment of muscle tissue
• Compresses muscle fibers back together
• Encourages relaxation and lengthening of muscles
• Goals of the integrating and closing phase
• Integrates and re-educates muscles
• Encourages removal of waste products from muscles for elimination from the body
