Answer: Physical symptoms include pale, clammy skin, headache, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, rapid heart rate, tremors, agitation, confusion, fear, visual hallucinations, fever and seizures. Symptoms can occur in as little as five to ten days.
Psychological effects include anxiety, depression, irritability, mood swings, fatigue, difficulty sleeping, and nightmares. Symptoms typically peak in 48-72 hours, but can last much longer.
