What should you do if you want to become a leader in a campus organization?
What will be an ideal response?
The first step would be to join an organization, attend meetings regularly, and observe the group's membership and activities. Next, volunteer to chair a committee or lead a group project-or simply ask officers how you can be of help. In addition, be willing to volunteer your services to group events. Designing flyers for upcoming events and working on the club's website are examples of activities that will get you noticed. Finally, suggest an event for the group-a fundraiser, a service activity, and so on-and offer to organize it. All of these activities will increase the likelihood of your assuming a leadership position.
