Explain the three errors which pave the way to produce a false confession

What will be an ideal response?

Experts suggest that there are three investigator errors when combined with misleading specialized knowledge, tunnel vision, and confirmation bias which pave the way to produce a false confession: Misclassification Error, the Coercion Error, and the Contamination Error (Leo & Drizin, 2010):
Error #1 = Misclassification. Misclassification occurs when an investigative interviewer wrongly determines that an innocent man is guilty. Belief in the human lie detector myth is the
primary reason for this mistake which can cause the overconfident police officer to interrogate
for confirmation instead of further investigation.
Error #2 = Coercion. Next, subjecting the suspect to an accusatorial interrogation takes on a
high priority since there is little to no evidence on which to make an arrest.
Error #3 = Contamination. Moving the individual from proclaiming innocence to guilt with
the introduction of evidence. Being fed with information known only to the perpetrator and
investigator introduces to the innocent man knowledge that is then weaved into the statement as
if it were his original thought.
