Compare and contrast the formation of a primary magma to that of a secondary magma. How does each form?

What will be an ideal response?

Answer: Primary magmas are generated through the partial melting of ultramafic rock. This makes a mafic magma. As this magma rises due to lower density, the ferromagnesian crystals will settle out, resulting in a more silica-rich, felsic, or intermediate magma. This would be the secondary magma.
