What is brainstorming? Provide an example of how brainstorming might occur in a small group meeting
What will be an ideal response?
Brainstorming is a procedure that small groups can use to generate as many ideas as possible without critiquing the ideas. In a small group meeting, once a problem is identified, group members can "shout out" as many ideas as possible while one person records all the ideas on a white board/chalk board. While brainstorming, members should only share ideas, not comment on any of the merits or drawbacks of ideas presented.
