Differentiate virulence and pathogenicity

What will be an ideal response

If an organism is capable of causing a disease in a particular body site or situation, it is a potential pathogen. Thus,
a normally nonpathogenic organism can be a pathogen in an compromised host. A very virulent pathogen is easily
acquired and/or has very serious outcomes, including death by uncompromised people with normal immune
systems.
