How do teachers apply what they know about their students' literacy development when they're planning for instruction?

What will be an ideal response?

Teachers personalize instruction according to students' stage of literacy development through the instructional materials they choose, the activities they plan, and the products they ask children to create. They group students for instruction according to reading levels and have children work together in small groups and support their classmates. Teachers include morning messages, shared reading, the Language Experience Approach, interactive writing, and writing centers as well as other procedures in their lesson plans.
