Adaptors are people who look to “build a better mousetrap,” so to speak. They see what others have done and look for better ways to do it. They rework processes to streamline them. They see other ways to use current products in hopes of reaching new markets. Innovators are people who break the mold entirely, seeing things that have yet to be done and that others can’t see. They don’t make evolutionary changes, but rather revolutionary ones. Creativity for the sake of creativity will always fail. What makes creativity a valuable marketing tool is the concept of strategic relevance. A memorable line or catch phrase in each campaign will tie your product or organization to the minds of your readers and viewers. This will increase recall among audience members and can help your clients differentiate themselves from other similar products and services.
